What about 250k pots?

I have read alot about people using 500k pots but mine max out on half a turn , so I thought may be if I use a pot with half the value it will max out on a full rotation, right??

Has anyone else tried different value pots with success? I tried soldering some resistors but didn't have much joy with that either.

Re: What about 250k pots?

Feel free to experiment....
but I use 100k with .0047uF caps and get complete rotation.... there is only about 7 degrees not used but it is virtually complete, and not enough to notice.
