1351 Mouse Issues - yea... Noobie question.

OOOOkay ... Here is my issue... Cant get the mouse to work....

Mouse works fine with other programs, including the 1351 demo/test disk.

Joystick Port works because I tried an old joystick and I can get it to move the cursor on MSSIAH

Am I missing something here?? Is there a setting I do not have turned on for the mouse?? Port #2 right?? Thanks guys!

Yes, you need to manually select 1351 mouse in the menu. Or use the quick key: hit the commodore key while starting up the sequencer.

Hey smile I'm not sure exactly what problems shaun was experiencing.. but! My 1351 just works by default in the Sequencer except the right mouse button doesn't work so I'm guessing that it is just in joystick mode? OK so that's fine but when I enable 1351 in the options menu, everything gets screwey.. specifically: when I move the mouse up or down nothing happens and when I move it left or right, I get left/right scrolling behavior.  It is my theory that the mouse is messed up and the right mouse button is always pressed.  Does this sound like appropriate behavior of a 1351 with the right button held down?  Also, yes, I tried toggling the right button option in the options menu.

Thanks guys!!

Hey Psyco wink

It seems like you don't have a 1351 but a amiga mouse. They look the same but work completely different.

cheers
