Re: 8bitventures MSSIAH announcement

The 5th Mysterious application..........I can tell you it is a music application!!!

Yeah, it would nice to know what exactly it will be. Sample, SID, Live-play? big_smile

Ok, here my questions:

- How much the cartridge will cost?
- Can I use the inbuild midi interface with other tools? (myMidi... or something between)
- How many units will be built?

You all know you're gonna buy it anyway, so speculation is as futile as any resistance you may be contemplating!

Re: 8bitventures MSSIAH announcement

My guess is a speech/vocal synth, or maybe a nanoloop or fruityloop-style pattern sequencer, or maybe some sort of real-time FX unit....

Re: 8bitventures MSSIAH announcement

there will be no tracker, so no LSDJ style program.. my guess is some sort of 3/6 channel midi live synth program...  to play the c64s 6 channels (with extra sid)... a polysynth..

Don't you have this already, thinking of the mono-synth edition played through midi with 2 sid's?

Dunno about that, but it would be nice. Some dreams will come true, some not ;-)

well, it doesn't play in true Poly Mode like Cynthcart, does it?

i'm actually hoping it's a Digi program, but why speculate?

If there is a new software which enables the C64 to be used as a sound module, then this may be possible..

Hey, there's M64 already, which sort of does this, doesn't it?
I think it is the soft that many use and used, like Goto80.
You just program your patches and control the breadbox from an external MIDI source.
