Re: composite video mod

My monitor cable is just a regular audio din2rca-converter, wich cost about 2 euros. Works perfectly and can be used with a scart-converter. I bought my adapters from a place that sells cheap tools, toys and crap like that.
A word of advice, when testing a cable, never insert or remove cables with C64 powered on!

Here's a pinout for a video port: http://pinouts.ru/Multimedia/AudioVideoC64_pinout.shtml

Re: composite video mod

the 8-pin DIN-port is the video port, but you can get all needed signals from it with a 5-pin DIN-connector. Pins 6 and 7 are not used for anything and pin 8 in the middle is for chroma. What's chroma? Never needed it..
