building a cassette adaptor

hey there folks.

and hi firestarter!

I was reading around and seem to have gathered that it may be possible
for me to use a regular old cassete player to load the data onto my
c64?

am I just making stuff up or am I about to venture out onto a
soldering adventure the likes of which are probably relatively minor?

I have yet to find pinout diagrams where all of the images where there
should be numbers are actually "?"
like here
www.supersoft.sk/hardware/co_CassetteC64.asp

any help would be appreciated!!!

thanks a ton!

Re: building a cassette adaptor

Yes, it's not hard to do at all. There's a good program for it out.

wav-prg.sourceforge.net

You could even record the tape on your stereo. No need for any
hardware modifications whatsoever.

Johan
